Brighouse Arts Festival: Postponed due to covid-19

We’re sure everyone is aware of the unusual and difficult times coronavirus has placed us in. As organisers of the Brighouse Arts Festival our mains priorities are the safety of our audiences, volunteers and artists. We are also aware of the safety requirements of our partner churches and community hall, and the social sanctions in place throughout Calderdale.

Bearing all this in mind we have decided that Brighouse Arts Festival 2020 will have to be delayed until 2021. We have tried to keep to our October date but we have had to accept that this is now not feasible. We can assure you that it is our intention to run the Festival just as soon as it is safe to do so. However, for now we have put everything on hold.

Please keep an eye on the website and social media for updates. All tickets will be valid for the postponed events but if anyone prefers to cancel we are happy to offer a refund. Please remember that we are a non-profit charity so it would be appreciated if you can leave the booking standing and use your tickets when we are able restart.

For now, we hope you remain safe, and look forward to when we can re-launch our programme next year.

My Generation – Brighouse Baby Boomers

Arts for Brighouse, with support from a National Lottery grant, created an exciting heritage project, ‘My Generation, Brighouse and Rastrick Baby Boomers – Images, Stories, Objects’. Our Heritage Lottery Funded project focused on shared memories, images and objects from baby boomers who live in Brighouse and Rastrick.
