ROGER DAVIES & HIS BAND at the Brighouse Arts Festival 2018.
Roger is Brighouse’s most famous current musician. He is currently touring with his new band and with the release of their debut album. Roger Davies and His Band regularly feature on BBC Radio and have most recently sold out at Square Chapel Halifax, Victoria Theatre Halifax, and last year toured alongside Fairport Convention with a full UK tour.
“When Roger walked on stage to a sold out Square Chapel in Halifax, it quickly became obvious why this self-styled ‘Yorkshire Songwriter’ commands such a strong following. His songs are a reflection of the world around us. His lyrics can be funny, as in ‘The Beerbelly Blues’, thought-provoking or, as in his tender ballad ‘Stephanie’, simply exquisite.” – Halifax Courier
